          FAQs

          • How do I add my university to campus.Universitian.com?

It is very easy! and of course free!

But first you must check if it already exists. Maybe someone else from university has already added it to campus.Universitian.com?

Just search for your university's name (e.g. "University of Oslo") via the "Search" box in the upper right corner of the screen. If you find it, then no need to add! Just click on it to expand. On the group page, you will see a button "Join". Click on it. And you are now a member of your university group!

But say, it is not there! Then, adding your university is also easy! Before you add your university, please have a look at the existing universities and the sample "university" group that we have created.

Then to create a new group, click on the "University/Interest groups" on the main menu. Click on the "Create a new group" button. On the new page which appears, enter the information and press the "save" button.

Now you have created your new group. You are automatically a member. And you can invite your friends to your group!

            Easy right?

          • My University is not in Universitian.com!

Then go ahead and add your university to the Universitian.com as a group! So that, the next person who looks for your university can join the group you created for your university!

Adding your university as a 'Group' in Universitian.com is very easy!

Before you add your university, please have a look at the existing universities and the sample "university" group that we have created.

          • What is a Group?

A group is a "place" where you can meet the people wih whom you you common things.

For example, every university is represented as a "group" in Universitian.com. For "university group"s, the type of the group is "University".

There can also be "non university" groups. We call them "interest group"s. For example, you can create a new group called "Scandinavian Intern Exchange Group" and set its type to "Interest".

In addition, within each group, you can also create sub-groups.

          • What counts as a "University"? My institute is not called "University". Can I still join?

To be a Universitian, your institute(school) does not have to have "University" in its name!

Any institute which is followed after 11 years of basic education is considered a "University".

          • How do I join a university or interest group in Universitian.com?

Search for your university's name (e.g. "University of Oslo") or your interest (e.g. "AISEC") via the "Search" box. Find it in the search result list. Click on it to expand. On the group page, you will see a button "Join". Click on it.

Note that, if the group you are trying to join is an "Open Group", then you can join immediately. But if it is a "Closed Group", then the "owner" of the group has to approve you.
